Hey sunshine lovers!
It’s your girl Tammy here, and today we’re talking about one of the most important (and most ignored!) steps in your skincare routine—sunscreen. I know, I know... SPF might not be as fun as serums or as glam as a good glow-up, but trust me—it’s the real MVP of skincare. I was just listening to an eye-opening episode of the Wirecutter Podcast with the fabulous Nancy Redd (seriously, if you haven’t tuned in, you’re missing out!), and it totally reaffirmed what I tell my clients all the time—sunscreen isn’t optional, it’s essential. So, let’s spill the sunscreen tea and talk about how to protect that gorgeous skin of yours every single day.

Let’s Clear Things Up (Not Your Skin—That Comes After SPF):
First things first—SPF is not just for the beach. If there's light in your day, there's a reason to wear sunscreen. Clouds? Doesn't matter. Working from your sunny kitchen? Still matters. Your skin needs that invisible shield every single day.
SPF Myths I Hear All. The. Time. Let’s bust ‘em, babe:
“My makeup has SPF, I’m good. ”Cute try—but no. Most makeup doesn’t offer enough protection to count.
“I’m inside all day. ”So are UV rays, peeking through windows and aging you slowly.
“It breaks me out. ”Girl, we can find one that works for your skin type—I promise!
Bonus Tammy Tip:
Do you have someone in your life who “forgets” their SPF (partner, teen, bestie)? Keep an extra bottle by the door, in the car, or next to the toothbrush. A gentle reminder goes a long way—because healthy skin is for everyone, and a little sun protection love never hurts.
Final Glow Thoughts: The best skin you can have is the skin you protect. So let’s stop thinking of SPF as a chore, and start treating it like that must-have accessory you never leave home without. Pair it with a cute hat and some confidence, and you’re unstoppable!

Stay glowy and protected,– Tammy
